Micro Skin Grafting & Repair Work

Scar repair, eyebrow reconstruction and other repair work are also available at Dr. Woods & Dr. Campbell's clinic. Dr. Woods & Dr. Campbell can repair and restore damaged and 'misplaced' hairlines due to 'OTHER' procedures. This means taking hair from 'Plugs' or 'Skin Flaps' (Rotations), and placing it into bald patches and 'gaps' elsewhere. The area from where the hair was taken is repaired by a Micro-surgical Skin Grafting technique. This technique has been used by Dr Woods and Dr Campbell to repair damaged hairlines on clients from all over the world.

The following patient had an artificially low, pluggy, indented and obviously crooked hairline done in his early twenties. The hair was also placed in erratically wrong directions. After several sessions of Micro Skin Grafting, his hairline has been restored to normality and he has since had a standard transplant procedure with The Woods Technique

SCAR REPAIR

This scar was a result of Strip Excision surgery. It was repaired utilizing both chest and scalp hair.

We wish to state that the growth rate and survival of grafts in scar tissue is less than in healthy skin and can vary widely in different types of scars.

According to Dr. Woods and Dr. Campbell, the aim is to densely pack the scar with hair to maximize survivial and "break up" the scar and make it less obvious. In some difficult, thick and avascular scars several procedures are required.
