TRANSPLANTATION

If I am considering getting hair transplants from you today, would you recommend that I visit your clinic and inquire about Follicle Transplantation or should I just wait for your HM to become available ?
This is a very personal decision. I do mention to patients that there is a new procedure currently under development at Gho Clinic. But it will ultimately be the patient's decision whether he wants to get some work done now as opposed to wait a few years for a new technique. There are many patients who just need a small area to be restored and Follicle Transplantation works very well on these patients. The healing time is nothing compared to conventional hair transplantation.
Why are you offering a new hair transplantation procedure, ie: Follicle Transplantation, when HM is so close?
This was already answered in the Follicle Transplantation FAQ section. But here we go again: Follicle Transplantation is a pre-study of HAIRmultiplication. The goal was to identify what part of the hair follicle is responsible for hair growth". With this study, I discovered that hair transplantation can actually be accomplished much less invasively without having to extract the entire hair follicle in the donor area. Follicle Transplantation has been available in Gho Clinic for several years already on burn patients as a medical indication. The recent decision was simply to offer this non-invasive procedure to those seeking hair restoration for cosmetic reasons as well. Gho Clinic has always been using this technique on patients and this is not something we invented in 2002. There is no diversion from the goal to introduce HAIRmultiplication - which I believe will obsolete conventional hair transplantation procedures.
